Insurance is a core area of AMA’s disputes practice. We act for major Omani and international insurance companies across a range of coverage and liability matters, including property, motor, credit-related, commercial liability and other insurance claims.
Our experience across different classes of insurance enables us to address both the legal position under the policy and the evidential issues likely to determine the outcome of the claim.
Our work includes policy interpretation, coverage, exclusions, disclosure, causation, indemnity, quantum and recovery. We represent insurers from the initial assessment of a claim and review of policy documentation through expert proceedings, litigation, appeal and execution.
We work closely with insurers, claims teams, loss adjusters and technical experts where disputes turn on factual or specialist evidence.
