Our Construction Practice

AMA acts in high-value construction disputes arising from major projects in Oman, both before the courts and in arbitration. We represent project owners, contractors, suppliers and other parties in disputes concerning delay, defects, payment, contractual liability, variations, performance and the interpretation of construction contracts.

Our experience across both litigation and arbitration allows us to assess the dispute from the outset with the forum, evidence and eventual enforceability in mind.

Our work regularly involves technical and document-heavy matters, including expert reports, engineering evidence, project correspondence, approvals and contractual records. We work closely with technical experts to test causation, liability and quantum and to ensure that the legal case is properly supported by the project record.

The Firm also handles construction arbitration and related enforcement proceedings, including challenges to and execution of arbitral awards. Our experience across both litigation and arbitration allows us to assess the dispute from the outset with the forum, evidence and eventual enforceability in mind.
